The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has given Galaxy Enclave in Islamabad seven days to explain and address alleged violations at its housing scheme in Zone-4.
The CDA issued a show cause notice after alleging that development and construction at the project on Lehtrar Road had taken place without an approved Layout Plan (LOP) and No Objection Certificate (NOC).
The authority has ordered an immediate halt to development, marketing, sales, purchases, allotments and transfers at the scheme.
Galaxy Enclave has been directed to remove or demolish the allegedly unauthorized structures within the seven-day period.
The CDA warned that failure to comply could result in demolition of the structures and sealing of the housing scheme and its site offices.
It also said the land could be vacated using police assistance if necessary, with the costs of enforcement recovered from those responsible.
The authority has instructed its relevant departments to prepare for removal of structures allegedly built without approval or on land reserved for public buildings and amenities.
The notice was issued under the CDA Ordinance 1960 and applicable ICT zoning and private housing scheme regulations.
