Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb has highlighted investment opportunities for Saudi-based companies in Pakistan, particularly in infrastructure, energy, oil and gas, utilities, mining, technology and blockchain.
Aurangzeb made the remarks during a meeting with Deutsche Bank’s Middle East and Africa Regional CEO Jamal Al Kishi in London, where they discussed Pakistan’s economic outlook, investment prospects and the bank’s future engagement in the country.
The finance minister said Pakistan was seeking greater participation from Saudi-based multinational companies and other international investors to support productive sectors and economic growth.
He also discussed Pakistan’s strategy to diversify external financing sources and strengthen ties with international capital markets and financial institutions.
Al Kishi reaffirmed Deutsche Bank’s commitment to Pakistan and expressed interest in expanding its corporate and investment banking activities. He also said the bank sees opportunities to strengthen business links between Pakistan and companies in the Middle East, particularly Saudi Arabia.
Aurangzeb welcomed the bank’s continued interest and stressed the importance of cooperation with international financial institutions and private investors to mobilize capital, deepen financial markets and support sustainable economic growth.
