The government has reduced petrol prices by Rs. 7.06 per litre and high-speed diesel prices by Rs. 3.71 per litre, effective November 5, 2026.

Under the latest revision, petrol will now cost Rs. 362 per litre, down from Rs. 369.06, while high-speed diesel has been reduced to Rs. 387.81 from Rs. 391.52 per litre.

The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) announced the revised ex-depot prices in a notification issued on Wednesday. The changes were made under the petroleum pricing mechanism approved by the federal government.

This is the second consecutive reduction in fuel prices. On Tuesday, the government had cut petrol by Rs. 5.45 per litre and diesel by Rs. 3.68 per litre.

The latest cuts come amid volatility in international oil markets. Crude prices fell on Wednesday as investors monitored developments surrounding the US-Israeli war on Iran and awaited Washington’s next move.

Brent crude futures were down $1.75, or 0.7 percent, at $101.85 per barrel at 1034 GMT, after falling by as much as $2 earlier in the session. US West Texas Intermediate crude declined $1.18, or 1.2 percent, to $94.91 per barrel.

Both benchmarks had briefly moved higher earlier in the session. In the previous trading session, Brent had settled at its lowest level in nearly four weeks as traders assessed efforts to end the wars in Ukraine and Iran.
