The Economic Coordination Committee (ECC) has approved a Rs. 300 million Technical Supplementary Grant (TSG) for the Capital Development Authority (CDA) to carry out repair and maintenance work at the Prime Minister’s Office and Prime Minister’s Staff Colony.
The funding was approved during the ECC meeting on Wednesday based on a summary submitted by the Ministry of Interior and Narcotics Control.
The grant will cover repair and maintenance expenses at the Prime Minister’s Office and the staff residential facility during fiscal year 2026-27.
The ECC also approved a Rs. 150 million TSG for the Ministry of Climate Change and Environmental Coordination for expenses linked to Pakistan’s participation in the 31st Conference of the Parties (COP31) in Antalya, Türkiye.
Another Rs. 934.481 million was approved for the Pakistan Sports Endowment Fund Scheme 2025 under the Ministry of Inter-Provincial Coordination. The funding will be used to operationalize the fund under its approved framework.
The committee further approved Rs. 1.666 billion for the Prime Minister’s initiative to provide short-term training in China to 1,000 agricultural professionals.
