Gold prices in Pakistan rebounded sharply on Friday, with the price of 24-karat gold rising Rs. 4,700 per tola to Rs. 453,036, according to rates issued by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).

The price of 10-gram gold increased by Rs. 4,029 to Rs. 388,404.

The latest increase followed a Rs. 5,600 decline in the per-tola gold price on Thursday, when it fell to Rs. 448,336.

In the international market, gold gained $47 to reach $4,305 per ounce.

Silver prices also moved higher in the local market, increasing by Rs. 126 to Rs. 6,963 per tola.
