The Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) and the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) have taken action against an unlicensed internet service provider in Lahore.

The raid was conducted by PTA’s Lahore Zonal Office in coordination with FIA’s Corporate Crime Circle (CCC) Lahore at the premises of M/s Frontend Internet (SMC-Private Limited) in Kahna Nau, Ferozepur Road.

According to the PTA, the company was operating an internet service without the required authority license.

One individual was detained during the operation, while officials seized equipment being used at the site.

The confiscated items included 2 Cisco switches, 5 GPON OLTs, 19 patch cables, 3 cash memo books and 1 laptop.

The action took place at Mustafi School Street near Mosque Bilal in Baddoki, Kahna Nau, Lahore.
