Tasdeeq Information Services Limited has started trading on the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), becoming South Asia’s first publicly listed credit bureau.

The listing was marked by a gong ceremony at the PSX Trading Hall in Karachi on Monday.

The transaction involved 219 million ordinary shares. Of these, 69 million shares were placed with pre-IPO investors at Rs. 2.35 per share, while 150 million shares were offered to the public at Rs. 3 per share.

The combined transaction was worth approximately Rs. 612 million.

Investor demand significantly exceeded the shares available to retail investors. The retail portion of the IPO was oversubscribed 21.68 times, with 11,358 applications representing around Rs. 2.4 billion.

PSX Managing Director and CEO Farrukh H. Sabzwari said Tasdeeq’s admission was the 11th listing on the exchange in calendar year 2026 and the third in the current fiscal year.

He said the listing demonstrates the growing range of businesses using the stock market to raise funds and expand.

Sabzwari also said investor accounts on PSX have crossed 600,000, with participation from Millennials and Gen Z increasing through digital platforms and awareness initiatives.
