Three Pakistani companies—Murree Brewery, Systems Limited and Sazgar Engineering Works—have been included in Forbes Asia’s Best Under A Billion 2026 list, which features 200 publicly listed companies from across the Asia-Pacific region.

The annual list recognizes smaller publicly traded companies that have demonstrated strong financial performance while navigating challenges such as geopolitical uncertainty and volatile energy markets.

Forbes considers companies with annual sales of more than $10 million but below $1 billion for the ranking.

Murree Brewery reported sales of $102 million, while its market capitalization stood at $92 million. Founded in 1861, the company is engaged in the manufacturing and sale of a diverse range of products.

Systems Limited, one of Pakistan’s prominent technology companies, reported sales of $286 million and a market value of $759 million. The company provides software development, technology solutions and business process outsourcing services to clients in markets including the United States, United Kingdom, European Union and Middle East.

Sazgar Engineering Works recorded sales of $389 million and net income of $58 million, according to Forbes. The company manufactures and sells automobiles, automotive components and accessories, as well as household electrical appliances.

Sazgar was incorporated as a private limited company in 1991 and converted into a public limited company in 1994. Its manufacturing operations are based in Lahore.

Pakistan’s three entries span different sectors, with Murree Brewery representing consumer products, Systems Limited representing technology and Sazgar Engineering Works representing the automotive industry.

Their inclusion gives Pakistani companies a presence among Forbes Asia’s 200 Best Under A Billion businesses for 2026, highlighting the performance of firms that have continued to grow despite challenging regional and global economic conditions.
