A police case has been registered against TV host and actor Sahir Lodhi and his alleged accomplice Faisal Zia after a widow accused them of extorting Rs. 4 million from her.

The case, FIR No. 1569/2026, was registered at Shah Latif Town Police Station on the complaint of Nagma Vakil, a resident of Landhi’s Majeed Colony.

According to the complaint, Vakil said she was introduced to Sahir Gohar Lodhi through Faisal Lashkarwala and gave him Rs. 4 million for investment.

She alleged that Lodhi subsequently made two payments to her, one of Rs. 2.5 million and another of Rs. 4 million. She also claimed that seven cheques were issued for repayment, with the amounts reportedly stated as Rs. 8 million and Rs. 9 million.

The complainant said she deposited the cheques at the Quaidabad branch on their due dates, but alleged that they were all dishonored.

She further claimed that after informing Lodhi about the failed cheques, he issued another cheque for Rs. 4.4 million, which she said also could not be cleared.

According to Vakil’s statement, she later contacted Lodhi again, after which his friend Faisal Zia allegedly issued a Rs. 2 million cheque. She said that cheque was also not cleared by the bank.

After allegedly making several attempts to recover the money without success, Vakil approached the DJ Malir court and sought registration of a case under Sections 22-A and 22-B of the Criminal Procedure Code.

Following the court’s order, police registered the case against Lodhi and Zia and launched an investigation.

The allegations in the case have not been proven in court. The facts and legal responsibility of the accused will be determined through the investigation and judicial proceedings.
