Pakistan’s leading sports goods manufacturer Forward Sports has signed a cooperation agreement with China’s Zhongzi Huaxin Group to jointly produce world class sports footwear in Pakistan.

The agreement focuses on technology transfer, industrial development, job creation, and expanding Pakistan’s share in the global footwear market.

Forward Sports, known for manufacturing footballs for the FIFA World Cup, also produces sports bags, apparel, and lifestyle footwear. The company is among Pakistan’s major exporters of sports goods.

China’s Zhongzi Huaxin Group is an investment and asset management company with expertise in industrial development, footwear and apparel manufacturing parks, and regional economic cooperation.

The signing ceremony was attended by senior government officials, including the Minister for Defence, Director General SIFC, Chairman of the Pakistan Regional Economic Forum, and chief executives of both companies.

Officials said the partnership will help attract investment, introduce advanced manufacturing capabilities, diversify Pakistan’s export base, and strengthen the country’s position in the international sports footwear industry.
