Gold prices in Pakistan declined sharply on Saturday, tracking losses in the international bullion market.
According to the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of gold fell by Rs. 3,700 per tola to Rs. 426,736.
The price of 10 grams of gold also dropped by Rs. 3,202, settling at Rs. 365,857.
The decline follows Friday’s rally, when gold prices had increased by Rs. 3,000 per tola to close at Rs. 430,436.
In the international market, gold prices fell by $37 to $4,043 per ounce, including a $20 premium, weighing on domestic rates.
Meanwhile, silver prices also moved lower, with the price of one tola of silver decreasing by Rs. 57 to Rs. 6,237.
