The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has warned residents and property buyers against transactions involving plots reserved for public amenities in Jinnah Garden-I Housing Scheme, Zone-5, stating that constructions on such land have no legal status.

Through public notices, CDA said any allotment, transfer, or construction on identified amenity plots, including land reserved for schools and playgrounds, would not be recognized by the authority. It advised citizens to verify the legal status of properties before making any deals.

CDA said one disputed plot was allocated for a school under the approved layout plan of Jinnah Garden-I dated April 9, 2011. The authority added that the land was required to be transferred to CDA, and the housing scheme sponsors had already been instructed to complete the process through official communications issued in August and December 2025.

In another case, CDA highlighted construction on a plot reserved for a playground, stating that the land had already been transferred to CDA through Transfer Deed No. 14313 in November 2011.

The authority said the notices were issued to create awareness among residents and prevent unauthorized transactions involving land meant for public facilities.

CDA records indicate that the layout plan of Jinnah Garden Phase-I was cancelled in 2018 and the scheme has not received a No Objection Certificate (NOC), with the authority continuing enforcement actions regarding planning violations.
