Clover Pakistan Limited has signed an exclusive distributorship and stockist agreement with UK-based CITA-UK to supply electric vehicle charging solutions across Pakistan, marking the company’s formal entry into the country’s nascent but fast-developing EV infrastructure market.

In a notice filed with the Pakistan Stock Exchange on Monday, the company confirmed it has been appointed as the sole distributor and stockist for CITA-UK’s range of EV chargers, accessories, and related equipment in Pakistan. CITA-UK specializes in smart EV charging solutions and charging infrastructure.

The partnership, Clover Pakistan said, is part of a broader strategy to diversify beyond its traditional petroleum business and into high-growth green energy and sustainable technology sectors, as demand for EV charging infrastructure begins to take shape in the country.

Clover Pakistan is a subsidiary of Fossil Energy (Private) Limited and has historically operated in the petroleum and hydrocarbons space — buying, selling, storing, transporting, importing, and exporting petroleum products, oil, gas, petrochemicals, asphalt, and bituminous substances. The pivot to EV charging represents a notable hedge against the very industry it has long served.
