Gold prices in Pakistan extended their downward trend on Tuesday, marking the third consecutive decline as international bullion prices also moved lower.

According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association (APSGJA), the price of gold per tola fell by Rs. 2,500 to Rs. 434,963.

The price of 10 grams of gold also dropped by Rs. 2,143, settling at Rs. 372,887.

The latest decline follows Monday’s drop of Rs. 2,400, when gold closed at Rs. 437,436 per tola.

In the international market, gold prices decreased by $25 to $4,125 per ounce, weighing on local rates.

Silver prices also edged lower, with the price per tola falling by Rs. 120 to Rs. 6,559 on Tuesday.
