The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has approved a fresh round of transfers and postings across several departments as part of an administrative reshuffle authorized by Chairman Suhail Ashraf.
The transfer orders, issued with the approval of the CDA Member Administration, introduce changes in multiple directorates. However, officials who have remained posted in influential departments, particularly the Human Resource Directorate (HRD), for several years were once again left unaffected by the exercise.
Under the latest notification, Grade-19 officer Malik Azhar has been transferred from the post of Director Solid Waste to Director Administration. Grade-18 officer Ali Murtaza has been elevated from Deputy Director Waste Management to Director Waste Management.
Among Grade-17 officers, Idrees Anjum has been moved from Deputy Director Environment Urban-II to Deputy Director Administration, while Liaqat Hayat has been transferred from Assistant Director DMA to Assistant Director Administration.
The notification also appoints Grade-17 officer Badr Maqsood, who had been awaiting posting, as Assistant Director Transport. Meanwhile, Assistant Director Transport Abdul Rahim has been directed to report to the Human Resource Directorate (HRD). The services of a Grade-16 Sanitary Inspector, who was also awaiting posting, have been placed at the disposal of the Metropolitan Corporation Islamabad (MCI).
Additional changes include the transfer of Deputy Director Irfan Khan to Estate Management-II and Deputy Director Aqeel Zardari to the Coordination Directorate. Assistant Director Karamatullah has been shifted from Coordination to Estate Management-II, while Assistant Director Hina Abrar has been transferred from Estate Management-II to Coordination. Junior Assistant Rizwan Yousaf has been posted to Estate Management-I.
The notification instructs all affected officers and employees to hand over their existing responsibilities immediately and assume their new assignments without delay. They have also been directed to submit charge relinquishment and joining reports to the HRD Directorate after completing the transfer process.
