Gold prices declined in Pakistan on Monday, tracking losses in the international bullion market.
According to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of 24-karat gold fell by Rs. 2,300 per tola to Rs. 428,936.
The price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold also dropped by Rs. 1,972, settling at Rs. 367,743.
The latest decline follows Saturday’s decrease of Rs. 1,000 per tola, when gold closed at Rs. 431,236.
In the international market, gold prices fell by $23 per ounce to $4,065 (including a $20 premium), leading to the downward adjustment in domestic rates.
Silver prices also moved lower, with the price of one tola declining by Rs. 69 to Rs. 6,324.
