Rockstar Games’ Grand Theft Auto VI has climbed to the top of the PlayStation Store’s Best Selling chart, making it the platform’s best-selling game despite its release still being months away.

The game’s $99.99 Ultimate Edition currently holds the No. 1 position, ahead of popular titles including Fortnite, NBA 2K26, Marvel Rivals, and Call of Duty, according to the PlayStation Store rankings. GTA 6 has also reached the top of Xbox’s digital sales charts following the start of pre-orders.

The strong performance suggests exceptionally high demand, with many players opting for the premium edition over the standard version.

Rockstar recently opened pre-orders for GTA 6, which is scheduled to launch on November 19, 2026, for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. The Ultimate Edition includes additional in-game content and digital bonuses, contributing to its strong early sales.

Although claims circulating on social media suggest GTA 6 has already surpassed 50 million pre-orders, neither Rockstar Games nor publisher Take-Two Interactive has released official pre-order figures. The reported milestone remains unverified.
