The redesign comes after repeated consumer complaints that the previous bill format was difficult to understand due to excessive information, technical jargon, and a complicated layout.

The updated bill highlights the most important information, including the total payable amount, due date, and electricity consumption, allowing consumers to locate key details at a glance.

The new format also introduces a QR code, enabling users to instantly access additional billing information and digital services through their mobile devices.

Officials said the redesigned bill is part of efforts to make electricity billing more accessible, user-friendly, and easier for consumers to navigate.
