Gold prices recorded a strong increase in Pakistan on Tuesday, tracking gains in the international bullion market.

According to the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of gold rose by Rs2,830 per tola to reach Rs455,063.

The rate for 10 grams of gold also moved higher, gaining Rs2,547 to settle at Rs389,534.

The increase follows a decline on Monday, when gold prices had fallen by Rs3,094 per tola to Rs452,222.

In the international market, gold prices advanced by $28 per ounce, taking the global rate to $4,326 per ounce, including a premium of $20.

Meanwhile, silver prices also posted gains in the local market. The price of silver increased by Rs141 per tola, reaching Rs7,314.

The latest rise reflects renewed strength in global bullion markets, which continues to influence domestic gold prices.
