Wahdat Poultry Farm Limited has commenced rearing an additional flock of 100,000 layer birds as part of its expansion program financed through proceeds raised from its initial public offering (IPO), the company informed the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX).
The new flock is a key component of the company’s strategy to increase production capacity and strengthen its position in Pakistan’s poultry industry. The company said the rearing process has officially started and will proceed according to its planned production schedule.
According to the disclosure, the birds are expected to reach laying maturity later this year, with commercial egg production projected to begin in November 2026. The expansion is anticipated to significantly increase the company’s egg output and support future revenue growth.
Wahdat Poultry stated that the investment demonstrates its commitment to deploying IPO proceeds toward approved growth initiatives aimed at scaling operations and enhancing long-term profitability.
The update was shared with shareholders and the investing public in accordance with the requirements of the Securities Act, 2015, and the Pakistan Stock Exchange Rule Book.
