The federal government has convened a meeting of the federal cabinet on June 10, according to official sources.

Officials said the cabinet is expected to deliberate on and approve key documents related to the upcoming federal budget during the session.

Sources further indicated that a decision regarding a possible increase in salaries for government employees may also be taken during the meeting.

The session is scheduled to be held at the Parliament House ahead of the National Assembly’s budget proceedings.

Authorities added that the meeting will be important in finalizing major budget proposals before they are presented in Parliament.
