The Annual Plan Coordination Committee (APCC) meeting is scheduled for Monday, June 1, 2026, at 10:00 AM in Islamabad.
The opening session will be held at the P-Block Auditorium in the Pak Secretariat, where Federal Minister for Planning, Development & Special Initiatives Ahsan Iqbal will deliver the keynote address.
Media representatives have been invited to attend and cover the inaugural proceedings.
Officials said the APCC is a key step in the federal government’s budget preparation process, as it helps define development priorities and review proposed sectoral allocations ahead of the FY 2026–27 budget.
The forum also evaluates public investment plans, examines development schemes from federal and provincial levels, and reviews macroeconomic indicators such as growth targets and inflation projections for the upcoming fiscal year.
The committee’s recommendations feed directly into the formulation of the Public Sector Development Program (PSDP), which is later incorporated into the federal budget.
According to officials, the meeting was initially expected earlier but has now been finalized for June 1.
