Gold prices in Pakistan bounced back sharply on Monday, tracking a fresh upswing in international bullion markets.
According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of gold per tola rose by Rs. 4,600 to reach Rs. 477,762.
The price of 10 grams of gold also increased by Rs. 3,943, settling at Rs. 409,603.
This rebound follows recent fluctuations, as gold had dropped by Rs. 2,200 on Saturday to close at Rs. 473,162 after remaining stable at Rs. 475,362 on Friday.
In global markets, gold climbed by $46 per ounce, reaching $4,554, driving renewed momentum in local prices.
Silver also extended its gains, rising by Rs. 236 to settle at Rs. 8,270 per tola on Monday.
