Gold prices in Pakistan edged lower on Saturday, tracking a slight decline in international bullion markets at the end of the previous trading session.

According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of gold per tola fell by Rs600, bringing it down to Rs476,262. The price of 10 grams of gold also dropped by Rs515 to Rs408,317.

This follows a sharp decline recorded a day earlier, when gold had already lost Rs15,500 per tola, reflecting continued volatility in both domestic and global markets.

In international trading, gold prices slipped by $6 per ounce to $4,539, adding pressure on local rates in Pakistan, which typically adjust in line with global movements and currency fluctuations.

Silver prices also moved downward in the local market, declining by Rs159 to settle at Rs8,073 per tola.
