The Pakistani rupee (PKR) ended Wednesday slightly higher against the US Dollar (USD), marking its 122nd consecutive session in green.

The rupee gained one paisa against the USD, closing at 279.25. However, it weakened against most other major currencies during the same session.

PKR remained stable against the UAE Dirham (AED) and gained four paisas against the Saudi Riyal (SAR). On the other hand, it lost Rs. 1.43 against the British Pound (GBP) and 94 paisas against the Euro (EUR).

It also dropped Rs. 1.23 against the Australian Dollar (AUD) while posting a modest gain of 28 paisas against the Canadian Dollar (CAD).
