Pakistan’s automobile sector posted PKR 17.7 billion in profits for the December 2025 quarter, marking an 18.7% increase compared to the same period last year. The strong growth was driven by a surge in vehicle sales, with KSE-100 listed auto companies selling 21,500 units during the quarter.
Two-wheeler demand saw a significant jump, as ATLH recorded a 34% year-on-year increase, selling 423,700 units in the second quarter of FY26. Sales of high- and medium-powered tractors also rose under the Punjab government’s tractor scheme, further boosting sector earnings.
The sector’s other income grew by 24.7%, reflecting healthier cash positions among listed auto companies and highlighting the overall resilience of Pakistan’s automobile industry.
