The price of 24-karat gold in Pakistan fell by Rs. 2,500 per tola on Thursday, selling at Rs. 300,500 compared to Rs. 303,000 on the previous trading day, according to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewelers Association.
Gold prices have seen a significant decline this week, dropping by Rs. 9,000 per tola since Monday (February 24), when the price stood at Rs. 309,500.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold decreased by Rs. 2,143, settling at Rs. 257,639 from Rs. 259,773. The price of 10 grams of 22-karat gold also fell by Rs. 1,964, reaching Rs. 236,169 from Rs. 238,133.
Silver prices also saw a decline, with the price of per tola silver dropping by Rs. 64 to Rs. 3,250, while the price of 10 grams of silver decreased by Rs. 55 to Rs. 2,786.
In the international market, gold prices fell by $24, dropping to $2,863 from $2,887. Silver prices also declined, with a $0.65 decrease, bringing the price to $31.14.
