Gold prices in Pakistan increased on Wednesday, reflecting a similar upward trend in the international market. In the local market, the price of gold rose by Rs. 1,000 per tola, reaching Rs. 275,900, according to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
Similarly, the price of 10-gram gold saw an increase of Rs858, bringing it to Rs236,540.
This rise comes after a decline in gold prices on Tuesday, when the rate per tola dropped by Rs2,100 in the local market.
In the international market, gold prices also climbed on Wednesday. According to APGJSA, the global rate stood at $2,647 per ounce, including a $20 premium, after gaining $10 during the day.
Meanwhile, silver prices in the local market remained unchanged, with the rate per tola steady at Rs3,400.
