On the opening day of the week, gold prices in Pakistan experienced a significant decline, dropping by over Rs. 1,000 per tola. According to the All-Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association, the price of 24-carat gold fell by Rs. 1,300 per tola, bringing it down to Rs. 277,800. Similarly, the price for 10 grams of gold decreased by Rs. 1,115, settling at Rs. 237,911.
The price of 22-carat gold also saw a reduction, with 10 grams falling to Rs. 218,085 from the previous Rs. 219,107. This decline comes after gold reached an all-time high of Rs. 287,900 per tola last month, with current prices now more than Rs. 10,000 per tola below that record.
Meanwhile, silver prices remained stable, with per tola and 10-gram prices holding steady at Rs. 3,300 and Rs. 2,829.21, respectively.
In the international market, gold prices also saw a decrease, dropping by $13 to $2,670 from $2,683, as reported by the Association.
