On Tuesday, gold prices in Pakistan experienced a significant drop, falling by Rs. 1,000 per tola, following marginal gains recorded the previous day. According to the All-Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association, the price of 24-karat gold per tola decreased to Rs. 274,700, while the price for 10 grams of 24-karat gold fell by Rs. 857, settling at Rs. 235,511.
This decline comes after a modest increase of Rs. 200 per tola in the local market on Monday. The drop in gold prices aligns with a decrease in the international market, where the price of gold fell by $9, from $2,656 to $2,647.
Meanwhile, the prices of silver remained stable, with per tola and ten-gram rates holding steady at Rs. 3,050 and Rs. 2,614.88, respectively.
