The section of the M2 motorway from Chakri is now accessible, and vehicles from Neela Dullah can travel via the usual route. In Lahore, the Traffic Police announced on Sunday that all city entry and exit points are open, ensuring smooth movement in and out of the city. The Eastern Bypass is now accessible, and traffic is flowing normally at major locations, including Babusabu, Thokar Niaz Baig, Shahdara, and Saggiyan.
The main Kashmir Highway has been reopened in Islamabad for traffic heading towards the motorway. However, containers remain at 26 Number Chungi, although efforts are underway to clear the road as a priority, sources told Raised by Numbers.
In Rawalpindi, the deputy commissioner confirmed traffic restoration throughout the garrison city. All roadblocks and containers have been removed, and both tracks of Murree Road, along with nearby thoroughfares, have been reopened. The remaining obstacles are being cleared. However, the Murree Road at Faizabad remains closed, pending authorization from the Islamabad administration to reopen it, affecting connectivity between Rawalpindi and the capital city.
