Siemens (Pakistan) Engineering Company Limited (PSX: SIEM) has unveiled a strategic transformation within its Smart Infrastructure – Electrification and Automation Business segment. This initiative is designed to better align the company’s operations with the needs of the local market and its customers, ultimately enhancing shareholder value by introducing greater operational flexibility.

As part of this transformation, some employees have opted to voluntarily leave the company, taking advantage of severance benefits offered as part of the restructuring process. The company has estimated a one-time cost of approximately Rs. 556 million for this transformation, which it will absorb.

Despite these changes, Siemens Pakistan has assured stakeholders that all business lines will continue to operate without disruption. The company remains committed to its core activities, which include executing projects under contracts and the manufacturing, installation, and sale of electronic and electrical capital goods.
