The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has emerged as the largest importer of Pakistani mangoes, with exports totaling $159.74 million over the last five years, according to a report by the Ministry of Commerce presented to the National Assembly. The UAE’s consistent demand has solidified its position as the top destination for Pakistan’s prized fruit.

The report also highlighted other key markets for Pakistani mangoes. The United Kingdom ranked second, importing mangoes worth $131.96 million during the same period, followed by Kazakhstan with $93.86 million. Oman purchased mangoes valued at $39.88 million, Afghanistan imported $35.98 million worth, and Saudi Arabia received shipments worth $29.61 million.

In total, Pakistan exported mangoes worth $632.003 million over the last five years, underscoring the fruit’s importance as a major contributor to the country’s agricultural exports. The report further noted that during the current fiscal year, Pakistan exported citrus fruits valued at $30.9 million.

Pakistani mangoes, renowned for their unique taste and quality, continue to enjoy strong demand in international markets.
