Sky Wings, a private aviation company, has announced the launch of an air ambulance service in Pakistan, following in the footsteps of the Edhi Foundation. The company’s first air ambulance aircraft, a Piper Seneca, has arrived in Karachi and will be used to transport patients from various airports to Karachi for timely medical care.

The service will include a medical team on board to ensure patients receive immediate attention during transit.

Imran Aslam Khan, the CEO of Sky Wings Aviation, revealed that the company plans to expand its fleet by adding two more aircraft soon. The air ambulance service will operate nationwide, with aircraft dispatched to transport patients wherever needed across the country.

Maryam Nawaz, the first female Chief Minister of Punjab, had previously announced the launch of the air ambulance service during her maiden address at the Punjab Assembly, fulfilling her promise within weeks.
