Sapphire Textile Mills Limited (PSX: SAPT) has announced its plans to acquire a minority stake in RTS Textiles Group Limited, a company based in England and Wales that specializes in the global manufacturing and sale of workwear fabrics.
The acquisition will be completed either directly by Sapphire Textile Mills or through one of its subsidiaries, subject to obtaining the necessary corporate and regulatory approvals.
The company views this strategic investment as an opportunity to create synergies in manufacturing, marketing, and research and development. These synergies are expected to enhance customer value and contribute to boosting Pakistan’s textile exports.
Sapphire Textile Mills is a leading player in Pakistan’s textile industry, primarily engaged in the manufacturing and sale of yarn, fabrics, home textile products, and the finishing, stitching, and printing of fabrics. The company believes this partnership with RTS Textiles Group will strengthen its global presence and expand its market reach.
