The Government of Punjab has announced that educational institutions in the Rawalpindi Division will reopen starting tomorrow. This decision comes as weather conditions improve and smog levels decrease in the region.
According to Geo News, schools in Rawalpindi, Jhelum, Attock, and Chakwal will resume operations following the issuance of a notification by the administration. The notification confirms that the improved environmental conditions have allowed for the safe reopening of schools.
Previously, the Punjab government had closed educational institutions from November 17 to November 24 due to adverse weather conditions. The reopening marks a return to normalcy for students and staff in the affected districts.
