The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has officially decided to move the remaining matches of the ongoing Pakistan Super League (PSL) Season 10 to Dubai, following a sharp escalation in tensions between Pakistan and India.

The decision came shortly after an Indian drone reportedly struck the Food Street area in Rawalpindi, just meters away from the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium, one of the key venues hosting PSL matches. The security breach raised serious concerns about the safety of players, officials, and spectators.

In response, the PCB convened an emergency high-level meeting with all relevant stakeholders to assess the situation. While options to shift the tournament to Karachi or Dubai were considered, the board ultimately chose Dubai as the safer and more logistically viable location.

Although an official announcement from the PCB is still pending, sources indicate that the decision has been finalized and preparations for the swift relocation are underway.

The move is expected to affect team schedules and broadcasting arrangements, but cricket authorities have emphasized that player and public safety remain the top priority amid the current instability.

The PSL has previously been hosted in the UAE during earlier seasons when security concerns in Pakistan necessitated a change of venue.
