The Pakistani Rupee maintained its positive momentum on Thursday, closing higher against the US Dollar for the 113th consecutive session.
The local currency ended at 279.41 against the USD, registering a small gain of one paisa. It also strengthened against some other major currencies during the trading day.
The PKR rose by 71 paisas versus the British Pound (GBP) and 30 paisas against the Euro (EUR). Conversely, it fell slightly by 10 paisas against the Australian Dollar (AUD) and 15 paisas against the Canadian Dollar (CAD).
Against the UAE Dirham (AED), the rupee lost one paisa, while it remained mostly stable versus the Saudi Riyal (SAR).
