A Pakistani military contingent has arrived at King Abdulaziz Air Base as part of a strategic joint defense agreement between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia, according to an announcement by the Saudi Ministry of Defense.

The deployment includes fighter jets and support aircraft from the Pakistan Air Force aimed at strengthening operational coordination and enhancing joint readiness between the armed forces of the two countries.

In a statement shared on X, the Saudi Ministry of Defense said the move reflects ongoing military cooperation under the bilateral defense framework and is intended to reinforce collective security preparedness.

Officials added that the deployment is part of broader efforts to bolster stability at both the regional and global levels, highlighting the long-standing strategic defense partnership between Islamabad and Riyadh.

Defense cooperation between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia has traditionally included joint training, deployments, and coordination initiatives designed to enhance interoperability between their armed forces.
