Pakistan Railways has started manufacturing new coaches locally using advanced technology to enhance its services and improve passenger experience. The announcement was made by Pakistan Railways Executive Officer Amir Ali Baloch during an e-Kachhari held in Lahore.

Baloch also revealed plans to launch a Green Line-style train service between Lahore and Karachi in the near future, aiming to provide passengers with more comfortable and efficient travel options. The Green Line service is expected to set new standards for intercity rail travel in Pakistan.

In addition to upgrading train services, the executive emphasized the importance of improving the overall passenger experience. He directed officials to enhance the quality of food and beverages served on trains and to ensure high standards of cleanliness are maintained across all services.

Acknowledging the department’s responsibility to provide a clean and comfortable travel environment, Baloch also urged passengers to cooperate by taking care of cleanliness during their journeys.
