Postmaster General Lahore, Iram Tariq, announced that the Pakistan Post is undergoing a comprehensive digitalization process, which is expected to be completed next year. The initiative aims to modernize the postal service and align it with contemporary advancements in communication and service delivery.
During her visit to the South Punjab Circle Office in Multan, Iram Tariq highlighted that Pakistan Post is ensuring faster postal and money order services in line with modern trends. She also noted that the organization’s saving schemes are gaining public interest. She emphasized that Pakistan Post is playing a constructive role in strengthening the economy, in line with the vision of Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif.
The Postmaster General was accompanied by Postmaster General South Punjab Circle Multan Zaheerullah Khatak, Deputy Postmaster General Rai Saifullah, and Chief Postmaster Arif Khan Niazi, among others. During her visit, she received a detailed briefing from officials on revenue affairs and postal services and also listened to the concerns of employees.
Iram Tariq expressed satisfaction with the progress being made by Pakistan Post, stating that the ongoing efforts to improve services are yielding positive results and helping to restore public confidence in the organization. She assured employees that their problems would be addressed and resolved promptly.
