Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Director General Lt Gen Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry announced that Pakistan’s armed forces have successfully neutralized 12 Indian Harop drones launched at various locations since last night, describing the attacks as a “blatant military act of aggression.”
Speaking on the ongoing situation, Gen Chaudhry said the Pakistan military remains at a “high state of alert and vigilance,” actively intercepting and neutralizing the drones as they are deployed. He condemned the drone strikes as a “serious provocation” that targeted places of worship and civilian infrastructure, resulting in the deaths of innocent civilians, including children, women, and the elderly.
The DG ISPR reported that a 13th Indian drone partially engaged a military target near Lahore, causing injuries to four Pakistan Army personnel and partial damage to military equipment. Additionally, one civilian was killed and another injured in Miano, Sindh, due to drone activity.
The drones were intercepted and neutralized in several key locations, including Lahore, Attock, Gujranwala, Chakwal, Rawalpindi, Bahawalpur, Miano, Chor, and near Karachi. Gen Chaudhry shared images of the drone debris as evidence of the successful interceptions.
He reiterated that Pakistan’s armed forces remain vigilant and prepared to respond to any further aggression, emphasizing that these provocations have so far failed to achieve their intended objectives.
