Pakistan has announced visa-on-arrival facilities for all delegates and journalists traveling to attend the Islamabad Talks 2026, easing entry requirements to support participation in the high-level diplomatic engagement being held in Islamabad.
Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar shared the update on social media along with an official notification, confirming that participants from all involved countries would be allowed to enter Pakistan without prior visa arrangements.
According to the directive, airlines have been instructed to permit the boarding of delegates and accredited media personnel even if they do not possess visas prior to departure. Immigration authorities will issue visas upon arrival to facilitate their participation in the talks.
Officials said the move is aimed at ensuring smooth access for international participants and encouraging broad diplomatic and media engagement during the event.
The facilitation measure underscores Pakistan’s efforts to support seamless coordination and participation in the Islamabad Talks 2026 as preparations continue for the multi-country diplomatic engagement.
