The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has announced a reduction in Re-gasified Liquefied Natural Gas (RLNG) prices for September 2024, with prices decreasing by up to 1.07% for Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) and 1.15% for Sui Southern Gas Company Limited (SSGC).
For SNGPL, the new RLNG prices are set at $12.9208 per MMBtu for transmission and $13.856 per MMBtu for distribution. This marks a decrease of $0.1394 per MMBtu for transmission and $0.1505 per MMBtu for distribution compared to August 2024.
Similarly, SSGC’s updated prices are $11.7589 per MMBtu for transmission and $13.4205 per MMBtu for distribution. This reflects a reduction of $0.1372 per MMBtu for transmission and $0.1568 per MMBtu for distribution from the previous month.
The decision to lower RLNG prices is attributed to an increase in the DES price and aligns with the Federal Government’s Policy Guidelines.
