The Oil & Gas Development Company Limited (OGDCL), listed on the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX: OGDC), has successfully commenced production from the Kunnar West Well-3, located in the Hyderabad District of Sindh. This marks another significant milestone in the company’s efforts to enhance Pakistan’s energy supply.
The well is operating at a wellhead flowing pressure of 1200 PSI with a 32/64 choke size and is currently producing:
- 3.5 million standard cubic feet per day (MMSCFD) of gas
- 30 barrels of condensate per day
- 3.8 metric tons of LPG per day
The gas output from Kunnar West Well-3 has been integrated into the Sui Southern Gas Company Limited (SSGCL) network, ensuring a stable and reliable energy supply for the region. OGDCL operates the Kunnar West Field under the Kunnar Mining Lease, holding a 100% working interest in the project.
This achievement underscores OGDCL’s commitment to operational excellence and its critical role in strengthening Pakistan’s energy sector.
