Master Changan Motors Limited has officially launched its electric vehicle brand in Pakistan, introducing the Deepal L07 sedan and Deepal S07 SUV at an event held at Dolmen Mall Clifton in Karachi on Friday.
The new electric vehicles are now available for pre-booking, with the Deepal L07 sedan priced at Rs. 15.5 million and the Deepal S07 SUV at Rs. 16.5 million, reported Business Recorder.
This launch marks a significant step in expanding the electric vehicle market in Pakistan.
In addition to the vehicle launch, Master Changan Motors has announced a substantial investment of $50 million in the country’s EV value chain.
This investment will focus on establishing a comprehensive charging infrastructure across Pakistan, facilitating the adoption of electric vehicles. The company also revealed plans to commence CKD (Completely Knocked Down) manufacturing within the next eight to ten months, further boosting local production capabilities.
This initiative underscores Master Changan Motors’ commitment to advancing the electric vehicle industry in Pakistan and supporting the country’s transition to sustainable transportation solutions.
