The Lahore Electric Supply Company (Lesco) has recovered a total of Rs3.81 billion from 128,395 chronic defaulters in several districts, including Lahore, Sheikhupura, Nankana Sahib, Kasur, and Okara.
A spokesperson for Lesco reported that Rs568 million was recovered from 17,454 defaulters in the Northern Circle, while Rs753 million was collected from 16,158 defaulters in the Eastern Circle. The Central Circle contributed Rs615 million, recovered from 15,578 defaulters.
In other regions, Rs263 million was recovered from 8,750 defaulters in the Southern Circle, and Rs298 million was collected from 11,933 defaulters in the Nankana Sahib Circle. The Sheikhupura Circle accounted for Rs573 million, recovered from 15,913 defaulters, while Rs231 million was collected from 19,864 defaulters in the Okara Circle. Additionally, the Kasur Circle saw recoveries of Rs508 million from 22,745 defaulters.
