Kerosene is projected to go up by Rs. 3.06 per litre to Rs. 179.87, while light diesel oil could climb by Rs. 3.68 to Rs. 163.44, a 2.3% increase.

On Sept. 1, the government reduced diesel prices by Rs. 3 per litre but left petrol unchanged.
