The Government of Pakistan has temporarily requisitioned the Serena Hotel in Islamabad to host advance delegations from the United States and Iran, sources confirmed. Guests currently staying at the hotel have been asked to check out by 6 pm today, with hotel staff assisting in arranging alternative accommodations.

A formal notice from General Manager Chinmay Mukherjee stated that the hotel will remain fully occupied from this evening until Sunday evening under government orders. For security reasons, the hotel’s business complex and on-site offices have also been closed during this period.

Officials say the move is connected to sensitive diplomatic talks expected to take place in Islamabad in the coming days. The capital has also declared public holidays on April 9 and 10 to facilitate heightened security measures.

This development highlights Pakistan’s central role in hosting critical negotiations between the US and Iran, with further updates on the schedule and nature of the talks expected soon.
