The federal government has announced the revised petroleum prices for the next fortnight. The price of petrol has remained unchanged at Rs. 247.03 per liter. The price of high-speed diesel has been increased by Rs. 5 per liter to Rs. 251.29.

According to a press release from the Finance Division, the revised prices will take effect from October 16, 2024.

These adjustments are part of OGRA’s regular review process to align domestic prices with global market trends. The new rates will be applicable for the next fortnight. At the last fortnightly review of petroleum prices the price of petrol was cut by Rs. 2.07 per liter to Rs. 247.03, while the price of high-speed diesel was reduced by Rs. 3.40 per liter to Rs. 246.29.
